<br />ROSEVILLE PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION <br />DRAFT MEETING MINUTES FOR AUGUST 4, 2016 <br />ROSEVILLE CITY HALL 6:30PM <br /> <br />PRESENT: <br />Becker-Finn, Bole, Diedrick, Gelbach, Stoner, Warzecha <br />ABSENT: <br />Heikkila, Newby, <br />STAFF: <br />Anfang, Brokke, Christensen <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />1.INTRODUCTIONS <br /> <br /> <br />2.ROLL CALL/PUBLIC COMMENT <br />No public comment at the start of the meeting. <br /> <br /> rd <br />3.APPROVAL OF MINUTES MAY 3 MEETING <br />Commission Recommendation: <br />Commission Stoner moved approval of minutes as presented, Commissioners <br />Becker-Finn and Diedrick seconded. Motion passed unanimously. <br /> <br /> <br />4.FOLLOW UP TO CITY COUNCIL JOINT MEETING <br />The Parks and Recreation Commission met with the City Council on June 13, 2016. <br />Brokke explained that typically the Parks and Recreation Commission meets annually <br />with the City Council. However, due to the numerous topics that the Parks and <br />Recreation Commission have been addressing it was decided to increase the meeting <br />frequency. <br />Commissioner Diedrick confirmed that meeting more than 1 time per year with the <br />council is helpful. <br />The City Council did not provide specific direction to the Parks and Recreation <br />Commission at the joint meeting. However, they did discuss the following topics: <br /> <br />Deer <br /> <br />Consider waiting for the results of the next survey and giving the Wildlife <br />o <br />Management Ordinance time to be effective. <br /> <br />Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) <br /> <br />Information provided to the City Council on updated plan to address EAB <br />o <br />in the City now that it is under an active EAB infestation. <br /> <br />Asset Management of Capital Improvement Program <br /> <br />The City Council is looking for the Parks and Recreation Commission to <br />o <br />weigh in on this in the future. <br /> <br /> <br />Њ <br /> <br /> <br />
