<br />Hamcnersten raoved, seconded by Fothen to grant Mr.Solnitzki,34 E.Sycamore a
<br />special permit to reside in £. basmr:ent he proposes to build providing he
<br />furnishes the Clerk the proper required a:fidavits.Roll call:Ayes-(h)Nays-(O).

<br />Mr.Marrinan appeared before the Council pertaining to his property on Snelling Ave
<br />and South of the Railroad tracks near County Road C. He was under the impression
<br />that his property was ~oned Industrial to Sne~ling Ave,eventho the records show
<br />it is zoned Industrial to Snelling Drive. It appears that he entered into a
<br />agreement with the Brede Sign Co for the erection of a large advertising sign
<br />on the property between Snelling Ave and Snelling Drive. A representative of the
<br />Brede Sign Co was also present and requested permission to leave the portion
<br />alreaqy erected until such time that the property is properly rezned. Mr Marrinan
<br />promised to take the necess~ steps for rezoning this property. Membrez moved,
<br />Mueller seconded to allow the Brede Sign Co to leave the part alreaqy erected
<br />with the understanding that the completion of this erection will be done after
<br />the property has been rezoned. Roll call:Ayes-(4).Nays-(O)

<br />Mr.Milner Carley,Ass't County Surveyor presented a resolution for the establish-
<br />ment of a County Road from the center of Roselawn Ave to Highw~ #36.The clerk
<br />read the resolution as follows:
<br />WHEREAS,A petition bearing date the 26th d~ of April 1948 signed by
<br />24 freeholders of said County has been presented to the Village Council
<br />of the Village of Roseville in the County of Ramsey,Minn.,addressed to
<br />the Board of County Co.r.unissioners od said County praying for the establish-
<br />ment of a highway rurming from the Northerly boundar,y of the City of
<br />St.Paul to State Highw~ #36, and not within the limist of aQY incorporated city
<br />a portion of which said highw~ when so laid out will be wi thin the unplatted
<br />portion of the Village, which portion of said highway lying wi thin said
<br />village is described as follows:
