<br />39 <br /> <br />VILLAGE COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE <br />Meeting,Tuesd~,December 2lst,1948 at 2 PM. <br /> <br />---------------------------------------------- <br /> <br />The Village Council met on the above date in adjourned regular session with <br />the following members present:Mueller,Kembrez,Hammersten,Pothen (4) Carlson was <br />absent. Ira Karon,Village attorney and Frank Leinen,Treasurer were also present. <br />Mueller presided. The Clerk read the minutes of previous meetings and on motion <br />by Mueller,seconded by Pothen they were approved as read.Roll Call:Ayes (4),Nays(0). <br /> <br /><~ì <br /> <br />Mr.stephen J.Krannak's petition requesting the rezoning of the following <br />described real estate from a Farm-residence to a Business District: <br />" The North 211.$ feet of the South 261 feet of the West 472 feet <br />" of the Southeast quarter (i) of the Southeast quarter (i) of <br />" Section l$,Town 29N,Range 23W..except the West 33 feet thereof. <br />was read by the Clerk.Jlr.car1ey represenUi:1g the owner Mr.Krannak ,gave his views <br />on the matter and pointed out that Larpenteur Ave is a natural for business.He <br />recommended that this property be rezoned. Mr.Krannak was also present and he <br />promised that nice. buildings for stores will eventually be erected on this property. <br />There wa8enooonèy present opposing the rezoning. President MUeller informed the <br />applicant that the matter will be taken up at the next meeting. <br /> <br />Mr.Mi1ner Carley and Mr.C1aude Allen presented a petition on behalf of <br />Den E.Lane for rezoning the following the described real estate from a Farm- <br />residencè District to a Business District.The petition was signed by the property <br />owners within $00 feet in excess of $0%.: <br />" All that part of the swi of the swi of Section 10,Town 29, <br />" Range 23,lying West of a line which is 330 feet distant from <br />" and parallel to the Bal. line of said swì of SWi,subject to <br />" all rights acquired by the State of Minnesota for road purposes <br />" and except therefrom the Southerly 33 feet which is right-of-way <br />" of so-called County Road B. <br /> <br />Membrez moved, seconded by Hammersten that a Public Hearing be had upon said <br />petition on Tuesday,January 4th,1948 at 2 PM at the Village Hall,Hamline & <br />County Road B.
