EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the eighth day of July, 2019, at 6:00 p.m. The following members were present: Willmus, Laliberte, Groff, Etten, and Roe and the following members were absent: none Member Williams introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION No.11618 RESOLUTION CHANGING THE LOCATION OF A POLLING PLACE FOR ELECTIONS WHEREAS, on October 8, 2018 the city established polling places held during calendar year 2019; and WHEREAS, Fairview Community Center was designated as the polling place to serve all territory in Roseville Precinct 5 located in the City of Roseville; Ramsey County, Minnesota, and WHEREAS, Fairview Community Center has become unavailable to serve as a polling place for the Election; and WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes, Section 204B.16 authorizes the change in a polling place that was approved before December 31, 2018 if the polling place is not available: NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Roseville, State of Minnesota, as follows: 1. The polling place for all territory in Roseville Precinct 5 located in the City of Roseville; Ramsey County, Minnesota, is hereby changed from Fairview Community Center to Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 2131 Fairview Ave N, Roseville, Minnesota. 2. Pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 204B.16, subd. 1 a, the County shall send a notice of change in this polling place location to each affected household with at least one registered voter in the precinct. The notice should be sent at least 25 days before the next election by nonforwardable mail stating the location of the new polling place.
