Ira Karon Village Attorney was also present. 1;..~~e clerk read the minutes of the previous meeting and the continued meeting of ... . Eve . August 11th and on motion by Mueller seconded by Carlson they were approved as corrected. Discussion was held on the Aldine st award and vacating .Membrez moved seconded by lme1ler that vacating of Aldine Place be postponed until Sept. 4 Roll Call "* Ayes(4) Neyes (0) Membrez moved seconded by Carlson that we advertise for bids for grading of Aldine St .according to plans in County Surveyors office. Roll Call Ayes (4) Hayes (0) Mr. L.M.Fleming of ~ster Check }'rotector Co. presentedhis machine to the Council members and he was asked to show it to the Village Treasurer for his approval and we would discuss the purchasing of it later on. Mr. BeJAenLof'tagarden,Lønge, and Mund of Midland Hills Golf Course appeared with a petition to vaoat.èa strip of land on the south side of the Golf Course west of Cleveland Ave. Membrez moved seconded by Carlson that public hearing be held Sept. 18 on the vacating of the above strip of land subject to receiving certifi.:.. cation of Abstract. Roll Call Ayes (4) Nayes (0). Mr. Kroiss was present and asked what could be done about Grotto st. saying the loose sand was washing down on his neighbors property. Mueller moved seconded by Hammersten that Mr. Kroiss be allowed to grade all of Grotto St according to grade stakes to be established by County Surve-,rors office. Roll Call Ayes (4) Nayes (0). The Clerk was instructed to write ~.Wm.La.Vanier 721 W. Co.Road B telling him Mr. Kroiss has permission to grade Grotto St. in as much that it is a 60 foot wide dedicated street. Membrez moved seconded by Hammersten that we have grade established on Grotto St. from Sandhurst to County Road B. Roll Call Ayes (4) Nayes (0) . 'Lyle Sauers of Sauers Construction Co. presented a petition for re-zoning Lots One(l) through Ten(lO) inclusive, Block Three, Gottfried Addition from Residence District A to Residence District B Village of Roseville County of Ramsey. Membrez moved seconded b1 Carlson that petition be accepted and a public hearing be held on Sept. 4 1951 at 2.00 O'Clock P.M. Roll Call Ayes (4) Nayes(O). Af.letter from Nrs Gilbertson of Rolling Green was read complaining about some neighbors running sewage onto the highwa;y and was referred to the Health Dept. Mr.Mack Attorney for Arden Hills was present and disc~1seð. Fire protection for his Village by our Fire Department. Mueller moved ,$~" \w\\&m"'_~ that 'We enter into an agreement with Arden Rills,providing it does-~ot jeþardize our Fire insurance rates in Roseville, at a$50.00 per month stand by time and 2.00 per hour per man and pay for any damages to hose or equipment on a run made into the Village of Arden Hills. Hammersten moved,¡econded by Mueller that Mr. Gordon Thoen be granted permission to live in a basement on Lot 9 Hoffman Addition for six months while building his home providing he secures the signature of Mrs Hoffman. Roll Call Ayes (4) Nayes (0). A letter from Hr. Wolfgram secretary of Ramsey County Surveyors Assn.was read offering the services of his organization to discuss Village wide problems with them. The CIeri was a.sked to write Hr. Wolfgram thanking him for the offer and to have their president appoint a committee to meet with the Council at a future date. Hammersten moved seconded by Carlson that we establish the grade on 'WhoerleSt. Brodview Addition 670.9 west of Lexington Ave. Roll Call Ayes (4) Nayes (0). Clerk was asked to write Mr. Carley about Fuchs property which was up for approval and ask him to make an attempt to have Mr. Fuchs record the plat rather than sell by meets and bounds. Hammersten moved, seconded by ~fueller that the easement from Markus be accepted and that the Clerk have it recorded. Roll Call .4Yes (4) Nayes-(O).
