<br /> ROSEVILLE PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION <br />MEETING MINUTES FOR <br />JUNE 7, 2022 6:30 p.m. <br />PRESENT:Arneson, Brown, Dahlstrom, Hoag,Lenhart,Matts-Benson, Ybarra <br />ABSENT:Boulton, Baggenstoss,Carlson <br />STAFF: Johnson <br /> <br />1) INTRODUCTIONS <br /> <br />2) ROLL CALL/PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> <br />Roll Call Commissioners: Arneson, Brown, Dahlstrom, Hoag, Lenhart, Matts-Benson <br /> <br />Chair Dahlstrom called for public comment by members of the audience. <br /> <br />L. Peterson, 1021 Roma Ave. <br />Ms. Peterson joined to advocate for the addition of AED’s in the park buildings. She relayed that <br />AED’s are an external device that provides an electric shock to the heart if a person is in cardiac <br />arrest. <br /> <br />Staff responded that the City Council authorized the purchase of seven AED’s for each of the park <br />buildings as well as the Roseville Dance Studio. <br />The Commission discussed placement of the AED’s in the Park Buildings. <br /> <br />3) APPROVAL OF MINUTES – MAY 3, 2022 MEETING <br /> <br />Chair Dahlstrom motioned to amend line #76 and #77 of the May 3 meeting minutes from <br />Commissioner Lenhart votingto “abstain”to Commissioner Lenhart voting “no”. <br />Commissioner Matts-Bensonmoved to approve theamendedminutes.Vice-Chair Hoag <br />seconds. <br /> <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Arneson, Brown, Dahlstrom, Hoag, Lenhart, Matts-Benson. <br />Nays: None. <br />Abstain:None. <br />1 <br /> <br /> <br />
