No audience members <br />indicated that they wish to speak. <br /> <br />3) APPROVAL OF MINUTES – APRIL 4, 2023 MEETING <br /> <br />Commissioner Boulton moved to approve the minutes. Commissioner Raygor seconded. <br /> <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes:Arneson, Beckman, Boulton,Baggenstoss, Brown, Dahlstrom, Raygor. <br />Nays: None. <br />Abstain:None. <br />4)BUSINESS ITEMS <br />a)Park Dedication Recommendation -691-711 Shryer Avenue <br />Staff reviewed the purpose, process and options to satisfying Park Dedication. Maps were <br />provided to show the location of the 691-711 Shryer Avenue parcel. The proposed development <br />is located in Constellation M of the Parks and Recreation system. There are no specific plans <br />identified for parkland in this area <br /> <br />The proposal includes five new units on a 1.5-acre development. The project qualifies for Park <br />Dedication. The cash amount for the five additional units would be $21,250 ($4,250 per unit). <br />The required land amount would be 10% of 1.5 acres or 0.15 acres. <br /> <br />Staff reiterated that the role of the Parks and Recreation Commission is to review the proposed <br />development and relevant parks and recreation system plans and goals; and to make a <br />1 <br /> <br /> <br />
