EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br /> OF THE <br /> CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br /> Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held on the 20th day of June, 2023, at <br /> 6:00 p.m. <br /> The following members were present: Etten, Schroeder, Groff, Strahan, and Roe; and the <br /> following were absent: None. <br /> Member Strahan introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION No. 12000 <br /> RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT <br /> FOR 2023 PATHWAY PROJECT 23-05 <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to advertisement for bids for the improvement, according to the plans <br /> and specifications thereof on file in the office of the Manager of said City, said bids were <br /> received on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at 2:00 p.m., opened and tabulated according to law and <br /> one bid was received complying with the advertisement: <br /> Contractor Base Bid <br /> New Look Contracting, Inc. $809,847.00 <br /> Engineer's Estimate $749,624.00 <br /> WHEREAS, it appears that New Look Contracting, Inc., is the lowest responsible bidder for <br /> the Base Bid plus Alternate Bid at the tabulated price of$809,847.00. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, <br /> Minnesota: <br /> 1. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter a contract with <br /> New Look Contracting, Inc., for $809,847.00 in the name of the City of Roseville for <br /> the above improvements according to the plans and specifications thereof heretofore <br /> approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Manager; <br /> AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota: <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Etten, <br /> and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Etten, Schroeder, <br /> Groff, Strahan, and Roe; and the following voted against the same: None. <br /> WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
