EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br /> OF THE <br /> CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br /> Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 20th day of June, 2023, at <br /> 6:00 p.m. <br /> The following members were present Etten, Schroeder, Groff, Strahan, and Roe; and the <br /> following members were absent: None. <br /> Member Strahan introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION No. 12001 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING SIGNAL MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT <br /> NO. 1053679 WITH THE MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION <br /> WHEREAS, The Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) wishes to cooperate <br /> closely with local units of government to coordinate the delivery of transportation services <br /> and maximize the efficient delivery of such services at all levels of government; and <br /> WHEREAS, MnDOT and local governments are authorized by Minnesota Statutes <br /> Sections 471.59, 174.02, and 161.20, to undertake collaborative efforts for the design, <br /> construction,maintenance and operation of state and local roads; and <br /> WHEREAS, it is necessary to enter into an agreement to provide for payment by the City <br /> to the State of the City's share of the long-term maintenance responsibilities. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Roseville <br /> enter into MnDOT Agreement No. 1053679 with the State of Minnesota, Department of <br /> Transportation, to provide for payment by the City to the State of the City's share of the <br /> long-term battery backup system maintenance responsibilities; <br /> AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager is authorized to execute the <br /> Agreement and any amendments to the Agreement. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br /> Councilmember Etten and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br /> thereof: Etten, Schroeder, Groff, Strahan, and Roe; and the following voted against the <br /> same: None. <br /> WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
