<br />VIIUGE OF RœEVIlJE <br />Regular meeting of the Village Council Tues~ February 21, 1956 2pm. <br /> <br />The Village Council met on the above date with the following members <br />present: Salverda, Carlson, Kitts, McGee and Hammersten. Also present <br />were Robert Gearin, attomey, and Milner Carley, Enginner. <br /> <br />Carlson moved, Salverda seconded the minutes of the February 14th meeting <br />be approved as presented. Roll Call Ayes (5)-Nayes (0). <br /> <br />Larry Squires, speaking for the Fire Dept., asked the Council to recon- <br />sider the Council action which bans the storing of vehicles (other than <br />those owned by the village) in the Municipal building. ~...1 '} .~ <br />~.,_,¡J.. Roll Call Ayes (5)-Nayes (0). <br /> <br />Mike Schwartz of 165 E. Owasso Lane asked permission to erect a Road <br />Side vegetable market on the N.W. comer of Transit and Rice St. The <br />property is zoned commercial no¡¡. He was asked to prepare a sketch of <br />what he proposed as to location of the building on the lot and parking <br />area. This should be turned over to the Village engmeer before the <br />next meeting so the council can act on this matter and the Engineer's <br />recommendations at that time. <br /> <br />Mrs. Moore, owner of property on Pascal Ave. south of Co. Rd. Basked <br />permission to move a bn~lñjng on this site; to be used for a multiple <br />dwelling. MCGEE MOVED, CARLSON SECONDED the matter be referred to the <br />Attorney and the Planning Commission for report back at the next <br />meeting. Roll Call Ayes (5)-Nayes (0). <br /> <br />WIn. Hi te from the Hi te Insurancè agency explained that some insurance <br />on our liquor stores will be expiring on Feb. 24th. <br />MCGEE MOVED, SALVERDA SECONDED we request a letter from Mr. Hite binding <br />our insurance policies for the 3 liquor stores f8Ð a period of 30 days <br />to give time for:Jrik further stuày. Roll Call Ayes (5)_Nayes (0). <br /> <br />MCGEE MOVED, HAMMERSTEN SECONDED the clerk be authorized to make a list <br />of the village insurance policies listing coverages, expiration dates <br />and all pertanent data for study of the insurance.
