VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE Regular Meeting of the Village Council, February 13, 1967. The Village Council met on the above date with the following members present: Mayor Cedarholm, Trustees Goodrich, Grauel, Shields and Curley. Curley Moved, Grauel Seconded, that the minutes of the meeting of January 23, 1967, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes (5) - Nays (0). Shields Moved, Goodrich Seconded, that the vacation of Terrace Drive from Hamline Avenue to Huron Street be approved; and that the Village retain the easement rights for utilities and drainage construction over the vacated street right-of-way or equivalent easement rights designated by the Public Works Director. Roll Call~ Ayes (5) - Nays (0). Goodrich Moved, Grauel Seconded, that the screening for the Greenbrier Home provide for a cyclone fence on three sides of the property, trees and shrubs as indicated on the proposal submitted by the developeri that the whole exterior of the building be brick facedi and that a proper bond be furnished to see that the work is completed. Roll Call, Ayes (5) - Nays (0). Curley Moved, Grauel Seconded, that the request of Otto N. Esch Equipment Supply Company for an amendment to the zoning ordinance be referred to the Planning Commission. Roll Call, Ayes (5) - Nays (0). Shields Moved, Grauel Seconded, that the Twin Tires, Inc. request for a zoning code classification for a tire recapping operation be referred back to the Planning Commission. Roll Call, Ayes (5) - Nays (0). Curley Moved, Shields Seconded, that Resolution No. 1743 calling for a feasibility report on a sanitary sewer and water improvement at County Road C-2 and Old Trunk Highway #8 be adopted. Roll Call, Ayes (5) - Nays (0). Curley Moved, Goodrich Seconded, that a public hearing be set for Vadnais Construction Company's request for a planned residential development, special use permit and variance to the zoning between old Highway 8 and new Highway 8 for Monday, March 13, 1967. Roll Call, Ayes (5) - Nays (0). Shields Moved, Goodrich Seconded, that the bids opened on February 6, 1967~ for gasoline be given to the low bidder, Mobil Oil CompanYi for bituminous materials (oil) to Western Oil and Fuel as to the low bid after a flip of a coin; for blacktop material to E. J. Pennig, low bidder considering haul distance; for diesel fuel to American Oil Co. as the low bidder; and for aggregates to Arsenal Sand and Gravel as low bidder.
