VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE Regular Meeting of the Village Council, April 17, 1967. The Village Council met on the above date with the following members present: ~myor Cedarholm, Trustees Curley, Grauel and Goodrich. Absent: Trustee Shields. Goodrich ~10ved, Grauel Seconded, that the minutes of the meeting of April 10, 1967, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes (4) - Nays (0). The Mayor opened the hearing on Improvement 67-18. The Village f'.1anager presented an affidavit showing publication of notice of hearing on proposed Improvement 67-18 in accordance with the resolution adopted March 27, 1967, \vhich affidavit was examined and found to be satisfactory and was directed to be filed by the Vi 11 age r.1anager. The Vi llage Manager also exhibited a Certificate of Mailing Notice of Hearing to all affected property o\vners, which certificate was examined and found to be satisfactory and was directed to be filed by the Manager. The Mayor then directed the Manager to read the description of the general nature and estimated cost of the proposed improvement and the area proposed to be assessed therefor, as stated in the published notice of hearing. After reading of the notice, all persons present were afforded opportunity to be heard: MR. MARLYN J. PARSONS, 2310 Hand Avenue, stated he would rather wait but would go along with the improvement. After discussion of the views presented, Mayor Cedarholm closed the public hearing. Grauel Moved, Cur ley Seconded, that Resolution No. 1799 ordering Improvement 67-1.2 (Hand Avenue) and preparation of plans be adopted. Roll Call, Ayes (4) - Nays (0). Grauel Hoved, Curley Seconded, that Resolution No. 1800 establishing a public hearing for June 5, 1967 for Storm Sewer Improvement No. 67-9 in the vicinity of Hamline Avenue and County Road C and terminating at Lake Josephine be adopted. Roll Call, Ayes (4) - Nays (0). Curley Moved, Goodrich Seconded, that the Attorney draft an amendment to the Village Code including furniture stores of over 40,000 square feet as a special use in a B-1 zone. Roll Call, Ayes (4) - Nays (0). Grauel Moved, Goodrich Seconded, that the Attorney prepare an ordinance allowing equipment and rental sales in an I-I District as a special use and to eliminate all outside storage in I-I districts. Roll Call, Ayes (4) - Nays (0). Goodrich f'.1oved, Curley Seconded, that Resolution No. 1801 changing the date for opening of bids on Improvement 66-17 and 66-25 as called for in Resolution No. 1796 be adopted.
