<br />TIle Village Council met on the above d'1te with the following
<br />members present~ Mayor Moll, COlmcilmen Anderson, Curley, Grauel
<br />and Linebarger.

<br />Curley Moved, Anderson Seconded, that the minutes of the meeting
<br />of April 12, 1971, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Anderson,
<br />Curley, Grauel, Linebarger and MolL Nays~ None"
<br />
<br />Grauel Moved, Linebarger Seconded, that Arthur Christensen,
<br />Frank Do Frattalone and Robert Ko We\vers be placed on six months
<br />probation as rrembers of the Volunteer Fire ~partment as
<br />recorranended in letter from the secretary dated April 6, 19710
<br />Roll Call, Ayes: Anderson, Curley, Grauel, Linebarger and ~1olL
<br />Nays: None 0
<br />
<br />Curley Moved, Anderson Seconded, that the purchase of Lot 5,
<br />Block 1, at 2970 Dell\vood Avenue, owned by Benjamin Vincenz,
<br />be referred to the Parks and Recreation Committee for study and
<br />recorrarendation. Roll Call, Ayes: Anderson, Curley, Grauel,
<br />Linebarger and ~,bIL Nays: None.

<br />Grauel Moved, Curley Seconded, that the contract with Northern
<br />States Power Corrpany regarding ornamental street lighting be
<br />arended as outlined in the letter of Mardl 29, 1971 from Northern
<br />States Power Corrpany. Roll Call, Ayes ~ Curley, Grauel, Linebarger
<br />and Moll. Nays: None 0 Abstentions: Anderson 0 COlmcilman
<br />Anderson abstained because of errploYJrent with Northern States Power
<br />Company.

<br />Linebarger Moved, Grauel Seconded, that the request of John O'Halloran
<br />for variance to sign setback at 1360 Commerce Street be referred to
<br />the Planning Commissiono Roll Call, Ayes: Anderson, Curley, Grauel,
<br />Linebarger and MolL Nays: None 0
