<br />Regular Meeting of the Village Council - September 27. 1971.

<br />The Village Council met on the above date with the following
<br />members present: Mayor Moll. Councilmen CUr~ey. Grauel and
<br />Linebarger. Absent: Councilman Andersen.

<br />Grauel Moved, Curley Seconded, that the minutes of the special
<br />meeting of September 8, 1971. be approved. Roll Call, Ayes:
<br />Curley, Graue 1, Linebarger and Moll. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />Linebarger Moved, Grauel Seconded, that the minutes of the
<br />regular meeting of September 13, 1971, be approved. Roll Call,
<br />Ayes: Curley, Grauel, Linebarger and Moll. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />Curley Moved, Linebarger Seconded, that the low bidder, Hoffman
<br />Electric Company be awarded the contract for park lighting at
<br />the bid price of $14;488.00. Roll Call, Ayes: Curley, Grauel,
<br />Linebarger and Moll. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />Curley Moved, Grauel Seconded, that Resolution No. 5742
<br />authorizing the 1972 Budget be adopted. Roll Call, Ayes:
<br />Curley, Grauel, Linebarger and Moll. Nays: None.

<br />Grauel Moved, Linebarger Seconded, that Resolution No. 5743
<br />directing the County Auditor to levy taxes en real estate for
<br />monies for the fiscal year of 1972 be adopted. Roll Call,
<br />Ayes: Curley, Grauel, Linebarger and Moll. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />Curley Moved, Grauel Seconded, that Resolution No. 5744
<br />directing the County Auditor to reduce the established tax
<br />levy for golf course bonds, water improvement boods, sanitary
<br />sewer improvement bends, ice arena bends. general improvement
<br />bonds and park bends be adopted. Roll Call, Ayes: Curley,
<br />Grauel, Linebarger and Moll. Nays: None.

<br />Grauel Moved, Linebarger Seconded, that the lett.er from
<br />Richard G. Held, Agent of the Federal Bureau of Investigatial,
<br />regarding the Roseville Police Department be placed on file.
<br />Roll Call, Ayes: Curley, Graue l, Linebarger and Moll. Nays:
<br />None.

<br />Curley Moved, Linebarger Seconded, that the letter fran the
<br />Northern States Power Company regarding the Street Lighting
<br />Cont ract be tabled. Roll Call, Ayes: Curley, Graue 1. Linebarger
<br />and Moll. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />Graue 1 Moved, Curley Seconded. that the Roseville Council
<br />meetings be rescheduled for October 4 and October 18. 1971;
<br />and also that the newspapers be advised of this so that sane
<br />publicity is secured regarding this. Roll Call, Ayes: Curley,
<br />Grauel, Linebarger and Moll. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />Linebarger Moved, Curley Seconded, that a para~ permit be
<br />issued for October 9; 1) Parade to start at Alexander Ramsey
<br />High School, B-2 to Hamline, Hamline to Roselawn, Roselawn
<br />to Eustic; (2) parade to end one half hour before sunset.
<br />Roll Call, Ayes: Curley, Grauel, Linebarger and Hollo Nays: None.
