<br />Regular Meeting of the City COlmcil - February 25, 1974.

<br />The City Council met on the above date wIth the following
<br />members present: Mayor Linebarger, Councilmen Curley, Demos,
<br />Hess and Brennan,
<br />
<br />Brennan Moved, Hess Seconded, that the mlnutes of the meeting
<br />of February 11, 1974, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Curley,
<br />Demos, Hess, Brennan and Linebarger, Nays: None.
<br />
<br />Brennan Moved, to deny the Venture Theatre request for rezoning
<br />from R-l and B-1 to B-l-B and R-l, Special Use Permit and
<br />preliminary plat at 2660 North Snelling Avenue,
<br />Motion died for lack of second.
<br />
<br />Curley Moved, Linebarger Seconded, that the Venture Theatre
<br />request be laid over until March 25, 1974, Roll Call, Ayes:
<br />Curley, Demos, Hess and Linebarger. Nays: Brennan.
<br />
<br />Curley Moved, Brennan Seconded, that the Manager and Public
<br />Works Director be authorized to sign Change Order No, 5,
<br />Improvement ST-72-l5o Roll Call, Ayes: Curley, Demos, Hess,
<br />Brennan and Linebarger. Nays: None,
<br />
<br />Brennan Moved, Curley Seconded, that the request of Irving
<br />Margolis for permission to erect a temporary building for use
<br />as a garden center at the Rose Shopping Center be approved
<br />according to the site plan dated February 18, 1974, for a period
<br />not to exceed March 1, 19760 Roll Call, Ayes: Curley, Demos,
<br />Hess, Brennan and Linebarger. Nays: None,
<br />
<br />Curley Moved, Demos Seconded, that Resolution No, 6075 regarding
<br />apportionment of assessments be adopted, Roll Call, Ayes: Curley,
<br />Demos, Hess, Brennan and Linebarger, Nays: None.

<br />Demos Moved, Brennan Seconded, that the proposed resolution
<br />regarding transfer of monies be continued until the meeting of
<br />March 11, 1974, Roll Call, Ayes: CurleYj Demos, Hess,
<br />Brennan and Linebarger, Nays: None,
<br />
<br />Curley Moved, Brennan Seconded, that the Mayor and Manager
<br />be authorized to sign the application for Bike Trails assistance
<br />as outlined in the memo from the Parks and Recreation Committee
<br />dated February 1, 19740 Roll Call, Ayes: Curley, Demos, Hess,
<br />Brennan and Linebarger. Nays: None 0
<br />
<br />Demos Moved, Hess Seconded, that Ordinance No, 721 amending the
<br />City Code by deleting the requirement that permitted uses in B-I-B
<br />Districts be set back 400 feet from any state or interstate high-
<br />way be adopted. Roll Call, Ayes: Curley, Demos, Hess, Brennan
<br />and Linebarger. Nays: None,
<br />
