<br />The City Council met on the above date with the following
<br />members present: Kehr, Matson, Cushman, and Rog. Members
<br />absent: Johnson.
<br />

<br />Matson moved, Kehr seconded, that the minutes of the regular MINUTES
<br />meeting of September 12, 1988, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes:
<br />Kehr, Matson, Cushman and Rog. Nays: None.

<br />Matson moved, Kehr seconded, that Lincoln Companies
<br />request for final plat at 1600 Terrace Drive be
<br />approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Kehr, Matson, Cushman,
<br />and Rog. Nays: None.

<br />Matson moved, Kehr seconded, that Tanurb Development
<br />Inc.jSharon Berg's request for a Special Use Permit to
<br />allow a drop in child care center within Loehmann's
<br />Plaza Shopping Center, at 2480 Fairview Avenue N., be
<br />approved with the following conditions:
<br />
<br />1. That parking spaces be provided adjacent to the
<br />proposed center for drop off purposes.
<br />
<br />2. That staff have final approval of landscaping and
<br />screening plans.
<br />
<br />3. That the new screening for trash containment must
<br />be completed within six weeks, and the City must
<br />receive a copy of the instructions provided to the
<br />Center's tenants regarding the handling of trash.
<br />

<br />Matson moved, Cushman seconded, that the proposed Com-
<br />prehensive Plan Amendment for the Twin Lake Redevel-
<br />opment Area be continued to the October 10, 1988
<br />City Council meeting. Roll Call, Ayes: Matson,
<br />Cushman, and Rog. Nays: Kehr.

<br />Matson moved, Kehr seconded, that Lincoln Companies
<br />request for a shoreline building permit and variance
<br />at 2801 Lincoln Drive, be approved with the following
<br />condition: That landscape and drainage plans be
<br />approved by staff. Roll Call, Ayes: Kehr, Matson,
<br />Cushman, and Rog. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />Matson moved, Kehr seconded, that Martin and Jean
<br />Mclndoo's request for three foot driveway setback
<br />variance at 2598 Charlotte, be approved with the
<br />condition that the landscaping be completed as pro-
<br />posed. Roll Call, Ayes: Kehr, Matson, Cushman, and
<br />Rog. Nays: None.
