<br />The city Council met on the above date with the following ROLL CALL
<br />members present: Thomas, Maschka, Cushman, Johnson, and Rog.
<br />Members absent: None.

<br />Dan Kleinberger, Chairman of the Ethics Commission, pre- PRESENTATION
<br />sented the Commission's "Procedures for Investigation of
<br />complaints" to the City Council.

<br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES
<br />Maschka moved, Johnson seconded, that the minutes of
<br />the regular City Council meeting of May 28, 1991 be
<br />approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Thomas, Maschka, Cushman,
<br />Johnson, and Rog. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />CONSENT AGENDA
<br />Maschka moved, Cushman seconded, that the Consent
<br />Agenda, Items B-1 through B-7 and B-9 be approved.
<br />Item B-8 was withdrawn.
<br />
<br />Maschka moved, Cushman seconded, that Peter Nord's
<br />request for minor variance at 3107 W. Owasso Boule-
<br />vard, to construct an 8 x 17 foot addition on the
<br />first level at the rear of his house over an existing
<br />foundation which supports a deck, be approved. Roll
<br />Call, Ayes: Thomas, Maschka, Cushman, Johnson, and
<br />Rog. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />Maschka moved, Cushman seconded, that Norman and
<br />Sandra Hanson's request for minor variance at 2779 N.
<br />Oxford Street, to construct a 20 x 42 foot addition on
<br />the north side of their existing dwelling leaving a 10
<br />foot setback from the Judith Avenue right-of-way
<br />instead of the required 30 feet, be approved. Roll
<br />Call, Ayes: Thomas, Maschka, Cushman, Johnson, and
<br />Rog. Nays: None.

<br />Maschka moved, Cushman seconded, that the Ethics Com-
<br />mission be authorized to expend up to $3,000 in 1991,
<br />if necessary, for the purpose of investigation of com-
<br />plaints, to be funded from the contingency Account.
<br />Roll Call, Ayes: Thomas, Maschka, Cushman, Johnson,
<br />and Rag. Nays: None.
<br />
<br />Maschka moved, Cushman seconded, that the Mayor and
<br />City Manager be authorized to sign an agreement with
<br />the City of st. Paul for the use of st. Paul's fire
<br />training facility at 1683 Kasota Street. Roll Call,
<br />Ayes: Thomas, Maschka, cushman, Johnson, and Rog.
<br />Nays: None.
