<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City <br />council of the city of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly <br />held on the 26th day August, 1991, at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Maschka, Cushman, Johnson, Thomas, <br />and Rog, and the following were absent: None. <br /> <br />Member Thomas <br />adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved its <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 8703 <br /> <br />APPLICATION TO THE <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA/COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT <br />FOR AN OUTDOOR RECREATION GRANT <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Roseville act as the <br />legal sponsor for proj ect (s) contained in the Community Development <br />Application to be submitted on August 27, 1991, and that the City <br />Manager is hereby authorized to apply to the Department of Trade and <br />Economic Development for funding of this project on behalf of the city <br />of Roseville. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City of Roseville has the legal <br />authori ty to apply for financial assistance, and the institutional, <br />managerial, and financial capability to ensure adequate construction, <br />operation, maintenance and replacement of the proposed project for its <br />design life. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City of Roseville has not incurred <br />any costs, has not entered into any written agreements to purchase <br />property, and has not contracted for or begun construction on energy <br />conservation measures for the proposed project. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the city of Roseville has not violated <br />any Federal, State, or local laws pertaining to fraud, bribery, graft, <br />kickbacks, collusion, conflict of interest or other unlawful or <br />corrupt practice. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that upon approval of its application by the <br />State, the City of Roseville may enter into an agreement with the <br />State of Minnesota for the above referenced project(s), and that the <br />city of Roseville certifies that it will comply with all applicable <br />laws and regulations as stated on all contract agreements and <br />described on the Compliances Checklist of the community Development <br />Application. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager is hereby authorized to <br />execute such agreements as are necessary to implement the project(s) <br />on behalf of the applicant. <br />
