<br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />Regular meeting of the City Council- September 14, 1998 <br /> <br />The City Council met on the above date with the following members present: <br />Maschka, Wiski, Goedeke, Mastel and Wall. <br /> <br />Members Absent: None. <br /> <br />A. COMMUNICATIONS AND PUBLIC COMMENT <br /> <br />6:30 P.M. <br />ROLL CALL <br /> <br />B. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />B-1 Goedeke moved, Mastel seconded, that the minutes of the regular meeting of MINUTES <br />August 24, 1998, be approved. Roll Call, Ayes: Maschka, Wiski, Goedeke, <br />Mastel and Wall. Nays: None. <br /> <br />C. CONSENT AGENDA <br /> <br />C-l <br /> <br />Maschka moved, Mastel seconded, the approval of a bon fire permit request <br />for the B & Dale Club at 2100 North Dale Street, from 6:00 p.m., October <br />31, to 12:30 a.m., November 1, 1998 with the condition that the fire not be <br />allowed to smolder or cause any excessive smoke and if the wind speed, at <br />the time of the fire, is in excess of 10 mph, the permit will be invalid. Roll <br />Call, Ayes: Maschka, Wiski, Goedeke, Mastel and Wall. Nays: None. <br /> <br />C-2 <br /> <br />Maschka moved, Mastel seconded, to approve Sharon Leete's request for a <br />minor variance to reduce the side yard setback to one foot (1 ') for the <br />purpose of adding an eight foot (8') wide asphalt parking pad to the existing <br />driveway at 801 Lovell, based on the findings of the Minor Variance <br />Committee, outlined in section two of the Request. Roll Call, Ayes: <br />Maschka, Wiski, Goedeke, Mastel and Wall Nays: None. <br /> <br />Maschka moved, Mastel seconded, to approve the request of Elwyn and <br />Evelyn Sands request for a minor variance to reduce the side yard setback to <br />four feet (4') for the purpose of replacing an existing driveway with the <br />installation of a nine foot (9') concrete driveway and slab on the south side of <br />their property located at 2612 North Aldine Street, based on the findings of <br />the Minor Variance Committee outlined in section 3.2 of their request. Roll <br />Call, Ayes: Maschka, Wiski, Goedeke, Mastel and Wall. Nays: None. <br /> <br />Maschka moved, Mastel seconded, to approve a request for a 60-day <br />extension of an application thru December 5, 1998, for a planned unit <br />development zoning ordinance amendment at 3090 Cleveland Avenue North <br />(Jim and Deb Schreier, Charles Cabinet Company, Incorporated). Roll Call, <br />Ayes: Maschka, Wiski, Goedeke, Mastel and Wall.
