<br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />AN ORDINANCE NO. 807 <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 210 OF THE CITY CODE <br />OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE PROVIDING FOR THE CONTROL OF DUTCH <br />ELM AND OAK WILT DISEASE. <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Roseville does <br /> <br />hereby ordain: <br /> <br />I. <br /> <br />Chapter 210 of the City Code of the City of <br /> <br />Roseville is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />210. COhtrol of Dutch Elm and Oak Wilt Disease. <br /> <br />210.010. Tree Inspection. The City Manager or <br />an employee of the City designated by the Manager <br />may enteron any private lands which may harbor <br />trees containing Dutch Elm disease or Oak Wilt <br />disease to inspect trees located on such premises. <br /> <br />210.020. Notice to Property Owners of Diseased <br />Trees and Order for Removal. In the event the <br />City Manager or an authorized employee finds <br />diseased elm or oak trees on private lands, <br />a notice shall be posted by the City Manager or <br />the authorized employee, in a conspicuous place <br />on the property where the trees are located, <br />substantially as follows: <br /> <br />"DUTCH ELM DISEASE/OAK WILT DISEASE EXISTS <br />ON THESE PREMISES AND ALL TREES MARKED WITH <br />A RED "X" BUST BE REHOVED BY <br />BY ORDER OF THE CITY MANAGER". <br /> <br />The date inserted in said notice shall be twenty <br />(20) days after posting. Failure to remove the <br />trees by said date will cause the City to remove <br />said trees and all costs for the ,inspection, <br />removal or treatment of trees shall be charged <br />against the property owner, provided however, <br />such costs may be assessed against the property <br />pursuant to Section 210.030. <br /> <br />The City Manager or authorized employee of the <br />City shall also cause a copy of said notice to <br />be mailed to the property owner on whose land <br />the diseased tree is located and the mailing <br />
