<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City <br />Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly held at the city <br />Hall in said City on Monday, the twenty-sixth day of May, 1992, at <br />7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: P. Johnson, Thomas, Maschka, <br />Cushman, and V. Johnson and the following were absent: None. <br /> <br />Councilperson Maschka introduced and moved the adoption of the following <br />resolution: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 8807 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING WETLAND FILLING <br />HEINEL DRIVE, CITY PROJECT P-90-02-19 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Minnesota Legislature passed the Wetland Conservation Act <br />of 1991; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this act stipulates that any wetland filling must receive <br />approval from a local government unit; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Roseville has accepted the role of the local governing unit; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, that the City, as the local governing unit, has <br />reviewed the construction plans for the Heinel Drive cul-de-sac and <br />finds that it meets the following required criteria: <br /> <br />1. That the proposed filling has avoided wetlands to the extent <br />practicable <br /> <br />2. That the proposed filling minimizes unavoidable wetland impact <br /> <br />3. That the wetland impact be compensated for by some means; be it <br />wetland enhancement or enlargement. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Councilperson Maschka and upon vote being taken thereon, the <br />following voted in favor thereof: P. Johnson, Thomas, Maschka, Cushman, <br />and V. Johnson and the following voted against the same: None. <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
