<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City <br />Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was held in the City Hall <br />in said City on Monday, July 13, 1992, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Cushman, P. Johnson, Maschka, <br />Thomas, and V. Johnson and the following were absent: None. <br /> <br />Councilmember P. Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved <br />its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 8813 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING THE CONSTRUCTION OF <br />IMPROVEMENT M-92-25 THEREFORE UNDER <br />AND PURSUANT TO MINNESOTA STATUTES, CHAPTER 429 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a resolution of the City Council of the City of Roseville <br />adopted June 22, 1992, fixed a date for a public hearing on Project <br />M-92-25; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, ten days mailed notice and two weeks published notice was given; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Roseville, <br />Minnesota, that in accordance with the provisions of Minnesota Statutes, <br />Chapter 429, as amended, the Council held a public hearing on July 13, <br />1992, to consider the proposed construction of Improvement M-92-25 <br />consisting of the reconstruction of the railroad crossing at Terminal <br />Road east of Walnut Street as described in the Notice of Hearing at a <br />cost presently estimated at $72,000 and substantially in accordance <br />with the preliminary report as to the feasibility thereof which is now <br />on file in the office of the City Manager; at which all persons desiring <br />to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon, and having <br />considered the views of all interested persons, the Council does hereby <br />determine and order that said improvement shall be constructed and <br />financed. <br /> <br />The City Public Works Director is designated as the Engineer for the <br />project. He is directed to assist the Minnesota Transfer Railroad in <br />preparing plans and specifications for the improvement. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Councilmember Cushman and upon roll call vote being taken <br />thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Cushman, P. Johnson, <br />Maschka, Thomas, and V. Johnson and the following voted against the <br />same: None <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
