<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF TilE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF <br />ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, HELD AUGUST 30, 1965 <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting <br />of the Village Council of the Village of Roseville, Minnesota, <br />was duly called and held at the Village Hall in said Vi llage on <br />August 30, 1965, at 7:30 p.m. The fOllowing members were present: <br /> <br />Mayor Cedarholm, Trustees Curley, Goodrich, Grauel and Shields <br /> <br />and the following members were absent: None <br /> <br />Member Grauel introduced the following Resolution and moved <br />its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1310 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION TO ACQUIRE CERTAIN TAX-FORFEITED <br />LAl'lD FOR A PONDING AREA FOR STom,1 WATERS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Village has been informed by the County Auditor <br />that Lot 16, Block 1, Frankson's Garden Plateau Addition, according <br />to the plat thereof on file and of record in the office of the Register <br />of Deeds of Ramsey County, Minnesota, has been forfeited to the State <br />of Minnesota for the non- payment of taxes, and upon which there are <br />unextended balances of local improvement assessments; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to applicable law, Minnesota Statute ~ 282.01, <br />this property is desirable for a public purpose, namely the ponding of <br />surface waters. <br /> <br />NOIv, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council for the <br />Village of Roseville, Minnesota, as follows: <br /> <br />That the Vi Hage Counci 1 hereby determines that Lot 16, Block 1, <br />Frankson's Garden Plateau Additioq, according to the plat thereof on <br />file and of record in the office of the Register of Deeds of Ramsey <br />COWlty, Minnesota, is desirable for acquisition by the Vi llage as a <br />ponding area for storm waters and that application should be made <br />to the State of Minnesota for acquisition of said property for said <br />purpose. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly <br />seconded by member Shields, and upon a vote being held thereon, the <br />following voted in favor thereof: All present <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: None <br /> <br />WHEREUPON, said Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
