<br />Roseville Planning Commission <br />Minutes of October 31) 19621) Heeting = 8~OO P0~,I, to 11"35 PaM, <br /> <br />Acting Chairman Membrez called the meeting to order, Commissioners Grauel, Jonason, <br />~1embrez and Swanson were present, Commissioners BellI) Chestnut and Soike were <br />absent, Planner Dahlgren and Engineer Soutter were also present, <br /> <br />10=3=107 Towle Realty Company application to rezone land from R~l to SC District, <br />Richard Larson, 4807 7th Street Northeast>> Minneapolis, represented the Towle Realty <br />Company at the meeting, <br /> <br />Tony Schmidt was opposed to rezoning of land and any ultimate use of the shopping <br />center property for a service station, <br /> <br />Howard Peterson, 2814 Huron Street lives beyond 250 feet of the property in question, <br />was opposed to a service station, <br /> <br />Swanson ~10ved>> Grauel Seconded, that the application submitted by Towle Realty <br />Company be denied for the following reasons: 1) It would appear that a logical <br />solution to develop this area would be to construct an East=\'lest Street, 2) The <br />applicant did not disapprove of this ideao Carried unanimously, <br /> <br />10-3~110 Emil L, Loeffel and Inez Loeffel application to subdivide a lot on <br />Ryan Avenue near Victoria Streeto <br /> <br />Grauel Moved,\) Jonason Seconded, that the application submitted by Emil L [, Loeffel <br />and Inex Loeffel for subdivision of lot be approved subject to the dedication of the <br />southerly 30 feet of Ryan Avenue for street purposes, Carried unanimously, <br /> <br />10-3-111 William R, Boese and Maurice Fo Moore application to subdivide a lot on <br />Parker Avenue near Victoria Street, <br /> <br />Grauel Moved, Swanson Seconded, that the Commission recommend that the applicants <br />be required to submit a preliminary plat of the property, The preliminary plat <br />should provide for lots having 85 foot frontages on Parker Avenue and the applicant <br />be required to dedicate a strip of land 10 feet wide fronting on the easterly side <br />of Victoria Street for street purposes. Carried unanimously, <br /> <br />10~3~112 Development plans submitted by Capitol View Church of God to construct <br />a complex of church and school buildings on approximately three acres of land, <br /> <br />Pastor Henry Mo Williams, 175 Minnesota Avenue, represented the Church at the <br />meeting, Fred Melby and Ken Fabyanske also were interested in the development <br /> <br />Swanson Moved, Jonason Seconded, that the planned development submitted by Capitol <br />View Church of God be approved subject to the following conditions' 1) The <br />applicant shall dedicate 25 feet of property along the easterly property line for <br />street purposes if requested by the contiguous property owner; 2) ^ dedication <br />of land for a cuI de sac should be made with provision for a turn around at the <br />extreme south end of such dedication; 3) The applicant shall dedicate the south <br />half of Lovell Avenue to make it a full width. It is also recommended that we <br />approve a variance which will allow the proposed buildings to be constructed within <br />10 feet of the westerly property line. Carried unanimously. <br />
