<br />Minutes Roseville Planning Commission <br />Special Meeting~ Monday~ December 14, 1964 <br />5:00 P.M. <br /> <br />Members present: Nelson, Anderson, Soike and Membrez. The other members were absent. <br />Trustee Grauel and Public Works Director Odland were also present: <br /> <br />File 64-240 - Sheehy rezoning from R-l to R-3 - Dellwood Avenue. <br />Mr. Rahn representing Sheehy restated his position~ namelyo the construction of five <br />buildings containing SS I-bedroom apartn~nts and 60 2-bedroom apartments 0 also two <br />duplexes, to be built on this property. There was considerable opposition to this <br />rezoning. The main objections were traffic, drainage, conformity, depreciation of single <br />homes in the area, and spot zoning. <br /> <br />liaving very little information on the drainage situation of the entire areao Nelson moved <br />Anderson seconded, that the request be laid over to the next regular meeting in order to <br />give the Village Public Works Director an opportunity to make a study and report on the <br />drainage. Carried by a unanimous vote. <br /> <br />File 64-244 = Lametti special use permit for an addition to his building on Cleveland <br />Avenue. A Mr. Robinson, representing Mr. Lametti, stated they needed this additional <br />space of 7DOOO square feet to provide additional storage of construction equipment. This <br />addition is to be placed north of the existing building. This request being a reason- <br />able one, Soike moved, Anderson seconded, that we recommend to the Council the permit be <br />issued. Carried by a unanimous vote. <br /> <br />File 64-245 - D. H. Overmyer Warehouse Company variance to zoning regulations. <br />Mr. TaylorD attorney and Harry Miller, Manager of Overmyer Warehouse Company stated <br />that a warehouse operation requires very few employees as a matter of fact in this <br />operation not to exceed 10. The parking of these employees will be near the main <br />entrance. The plans showed there was sufficient space for 11 passenger autos~ therefore, <br />Soike moved~ Nelson seconded, to recommend that the variance be granted for the parking <br />of 11 automobiles.
