The
lot presently lies right at the right-of-way line of Hamline
Avenue. The City is asking for the right to build the parking
lot without giving up the additional 10 foot right-of-way
required by the County masterplan. The right-of-way would be
dedicated when the County needs additional right-of-way to
upgrade Hamline Avenue. Shardlow stated that the hardship is due
to the existing building on site, leaving no other place for the
parking lot to expand.

Keel stated that entrances will be reduced to a single signalized
driveway. Keel also stated that there will be no internal
landscaping.

Bob Bierscheid said that the entrance will be landscaped.
wietecki questioned what lighting would be provided.
