<br />ROSEVILLE PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Wednesday, December 5, 1990 <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />The December 5, 1990 regular meeting of the Roseville Planning <br />Commission was called to order by Chairperson Pat Johnson at 7:34 <br />P.M. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />DeBenedet, Berry, Goedeke, Stokes, Roberts, <br />Johnson <br /> <br />Members Absent: <br /> <br />wietecki <br /> <br />Staff Present: <br /> <br />Shardlow, Jopke, Keel, Burrell, Brokke <br /> <br />Council Present: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Approval of Minutes <br /> <br />MOTION <br /> <br />Roberts moved and DeBenedet seconded to approve the November 7, <br />1990 minutes. <br /> <br />Roll Call: <br /> <br />Ayes: <br /> <br />DeBenedet, Berry, Goedeke, Stokes, <br />Roberts, Johnson <br /> <br />Nays: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Planning File 2164 <br /> <br />Steve and Trottie Zeece request for preliminary and final plat <br />approval at 202 W. County Road B. <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Shardlow summarized the site location, proposed plat, Council <br />direction, and need for neighborhood input. <br /> <br />Ken Schwalbach, 2129 Rice Street, stated that he would be <br />interested acquiring some of the adj acent tax forfeited park <br />land. Schwalbach questioned the necessity of his presence at the <br />meeting if the City was going to buy the property. <br /> <br />Johnson stated that the City has not made a decision on <br />purchasing the property and that the neighbors have been invited <br />to provide input to the Council before they make their decision. <br />Schwalbach stated that he felt the Council had already made the <br />decision to get rid of the park land and questioned what change <br />would make the city want to keep it. Shardlow replied that there <br />is some interest for the City HRA to acquire the property and <br />develop it for housing. Shardlow pointed out that the HRA would <br />
