Mr. Brandt
appeared before the City Council on March 25, 1991. The city
Council directed Mr. Brandt to resubmit an accurate site plan and
appropriate information to support a hardship for review by the
Planning Commission. Shardlow pointed out that City staff has
worked with Mr. Brandt to assist him in gathering the necessary
information to resubmit to prove a hardship on his property, but
that the information, in staff's opinion, does not support granting
the variance. Shardlow added that Mr. Brandt indicated he will
wait for the city code enforcement staff to order him to move or
remove the sign.

DeBenedet asked if the applicant was present. He was not.

wietecki questioned if Mr. Brandt had supplied staff an accurate
site plan. Shardlow replied that staff assisted Mr. Brandt in
preparing an accurate site plan.
