<br />Resolution No. 15 <br /> <br />Adopted March 15, 1949 <br /> <br />"WHEREAS, the Council of the lIillage of Hoseville did by resolution, approved <br />January 4, 1949. authorize issuance of $15,000.00 par value of the bonds of <br />the Village of Itoseville for the purpose of obtaining cash to purchase <br />additional fire equipment for the Fire Dept. of said Village, and <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the Village of Roseville by said resolution autorized <br />that the question of the issuance of said bonds be submitted to the voters of <br />the Village of Ro~eville as requirEd by law, and <br />WHEREAS, said question was submitted at the election duly held fer said <br />purroEe in said Village on Jam,ary ZSth, 1949, and <br />WHEREAS, issuance and sale of said bonds was approved at said election b~, <br />more than four-fifths (4/5ths) of the voters voting at said election and <br />WHEREAS, said Council by resol~tion aplroved January 4th provided that the <br />Council of the Village of Hoseville should, by subsequent resolution, fix the <br />denomination ane form of said bobds and date of maturity thereof; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT the bonds authot,ized to be sold by said <br />resolution be issued and sold in the manner r;rovided for bv law in the am01mt <br />of $15,000.000; said bonds to be in denominations of $,00.00 each to be dated <br />February 15, 1949, and bear interest at the rate not to exceed 5% ecch year <br />according to the coufons to be attached to ~'aid bonds; said t->onds shall be serial <br />but none shall run for a longer term than six (6) years am: shall be numbered <br />lOl-to 130 inclusive. The dates on which said bonds shall mature and the amounts <br />which:snall mature over said period shall be as follows: <br /> <br />Date of maturity Bond No. Amount <br /> 2/15/51 101 to 106 inclusive 13,000.00 <br /> 2/15/52 107 to 112 " $3,000.00 <br /> 2/1,/53 113 to 118 n $3,000.00 <br /> 2/1,/54 119 to 124 " $3,000.00 <br /> 2/1S/55 125 to 130 " $3,000.00 <br />Copy of Bond in Minute Book 1948-51 Page 55 <br /> <br />RESOLVED FURTHER, that sealed proposals for the sale of all such bonds <br />will be received, opened and considered at a meeting of the Village <br />Council to be held at 2:00 P.M. on the 5th day of April, 1949, at the Village <br />Hall, hamline and County rtoad liB" in the Village of Roseville, 1/1innesota. <br />Two weeks puiJlishe, notice thereof, as requirec by law shall be given by <br />the Clerk in the baint Paul ~egal Ledger, the official paper of said Village. <br />Each bidder shall be required to accoriipany his bid by a certified check or <br />Cash deposit for 5% of the amount of bonds for which he shall bid, which <br />shall be forfeited to the Village as liquidated damages if the bonds are not <br />taken and paid for when ready for delivery~ Said bonds shall be offered to <br />the person who will pay par or better therefor at the lowest rate of interest <br />not exceeding 5%. <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />Attest: <br /> <br />Clerk <br />
