<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City <br />Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was held in the City Hall <br />in said City on Tuesday, March 9, 1993, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Cushman, Maschka, P. Johnson, <br />and V. Johnson and the following were absent: Goedeke. <br /> <br />Councilmember Cushman introduced the following resolution and moved <br />its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 8905 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING THE CONSTRUCTION OF <br />IMPROVEMENT P-93-03, NEIGHBORHOOD 60, GARDEN AVENUE (MSA) <br />AND PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a resolution of the City Council of the city of Roseville <br />adopted February 8, 1993, fixed a date for a public hearing on Project <br />P-93-03, Neighborhood 60; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, ten days mailed notice and two weeks published notice was given; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the city of Roseville, <br />Minnesota, that in accordance with the provisions of Minnesota Statutes, <br />Chapter 429, as amended, the Council held a public hearing on March 8, <br />1993, to consider the proposed construction of Improvement P-93-03, <br />Neighborhood 60, consisting of the installation bituminous paving, <br />concrete curb and gutter, sanitary sewer service repair, drainage <br />facilities, and necessary appurtenances on all that property abutting <br />Garden Avenue from Hamline Avenue to Lexington Avenue, a Municipal State <br />Aid street, as described in the Notice of Hearing at a cost presently <br />estimated at $327,139.82 and substantially in accordance with the <br />preliminary report as to the feasibility thereof which is now on file in <br />the office of the City Manager; at which all persons desiring to be <br />heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon, and having <br />considered the views of all interested persons, the Council does hereby <br />determine and order that said improvement shall be constructed and <br />financed. The City Public Works Director is designated as the Engineer <br />for the project and is directed to prepare and submit to the council the <br />final plans and specifications for the improvement. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Councilmember P. Johnson and upon roll call vote being taken <br />thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Cushman, Maschka, P. <br />Johnson, and V. Johnson and the following voted against the same: None <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
