<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a meeting of the City Council <br />of the city of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on <br />the 22nd day of March, 1993 at 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Cushman, Maschka, Goedeke, V. <br />Johnson and the following were absent: P. Johnson. <br /> <br />Member Cushman introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: vacation of a portion of Richmond Street (Chatsworth) Avenue, <br />between County Road C-2 and Millwood Street. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 8907 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION FOR THE VACATION OF A PORTION OF RICHMOND AVENUE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing to determine whether or <br />not said portion of Richmond Avenue in the City of Roseville should be <br />vacated: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, because the portion of Richmond Avenue is unimproved and not <br />necessary for public street purposes: and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it would be beneficial to the public interest to vacate said <br />portion of Richmond Avenue. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the city of <br />Roseville hereby vacates said portion of Richmond Avenue over the <br />property described as follows: <br /> <br />THAT PORTION OF RICHMOND AVENUE IN SECTION 2, TOWNSHIP 29, RANGE <br />23 LYING BETWEEN THE SOUTHLINE OF MILLWOOD AVENUE AND THE NORTH <br />LINE OF COUNTY ROAD C-2 SUBJECT TO ALL ABUTTING PROPERTY OWNERS <br />INDICATING APPROVAL OF THE VACATION. <br /> <br />If all abutting property owners do not approve the vacation in writing <br />within 30 days, then only the following portion of the right-of-way is <br />vacated: <br /> <br />THE WEST 30 FEET OF THE SOUTH 328.22 FEET OF THAT PORTION OF <br />RICHMOND AVENUE IN SECTION 2, TOWNSHIP 29, RANGE 23 LYING <br />BETWEEN THE SOUTHLINE OF MILLWOOD AVENUE AND THE NORTH LINE OF <br />COUNTY ROAD C-2. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Member Maschka, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the <br />following vote in favor thereof: Cushman, Maschka, Goedeke, and V. <br />Johnson and the following voted against the same: None. <br />
