<br />Resolution No. 20 <br /> <br />Adopted September 27, 1949 <br /> <br />lmEREAS, the Great Lakes Pipe Line Company has submitted to the Village <br />Council of the Village of Roseville a communication in words and figures <br />as follows: <br /> <br />September 27, 1949 <br /> <br />Village Council of Roseville <br />Village of Roseville <br />Ramsey County, M1nne so ta <br /> <br />Gentlemen: <br /> <br />In the near future the Great Lakes Pipe Line Company proposes <br />to construct a 12" petroleum products pipe line from Oklahoma to its <br />Minneapolis Tenninal located in the South t of Section 5, Township 29. <br />North, Range 23 west, Roseville Village, Ramsey County, Minnesota. <br />Said proposed line will be constructed parallel with and adjacent <br />to the existing two 6" lines in Roseville Village. <br /> <br />The Great Lakes Pipe Line Company hereby respectfully requests <br />the Village Council of Roseville to enter an order authorizing said <br />Company to lay, relay, remove, maintain, operate and repair its said <br />additional pipe line of ~he dimensions above mentioned, according to <br />the route of sa.id line as shown on the map hereto attached. <br /> <br />The Great Lakes Pipe Line Company represents that it will carry <br />out all work in an approved manner for the protection of the roads <br />and the safeguarding of the traffic thereon, and to comply with all <br />other regulations of governmental agencies for the protection of the public. <br /> <br />Great Lakes Pipe Line Company <br />By Claude Allen <br /> <br />vlHEREAS, Attached to said letter is a map showing the location of said <br />proposed new pipe line in the Village of Roseville and desi~nating the <br />public streets, roads, and property which will be crossed by the instal- <br />lation of the new pipe lines therein referred to, which said map is a <br />part of said request and has been filed with the Village Clerk: <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that permission is hereby glven and granted <br />to Great Lakes Pipe Line Company t. lay, relay, remove, maintain, operate <br />and repair its said additional pipe lines of the dimensions in their written <br />communication referred to along and according to the route of said lines as <br />shown upon the map to'and made a part of the communication, in which their <br />request is presented; it being understood that this permission to the <br />Great Lakes Pipe Line Company is upon condition that said Great Lakes Pipe <br />Line Company will carry out all work in an approved manner for the protection <br />of the roads, and the safeguarding of the traffic thereon, and to comply with <br />all other regulations of governmental agencies for the protection of the public. <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Clerk <br />
