<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF ~ffiETING OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, HELD JANUARY 15, 1968 <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting <br />of the Village Council of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly called and <br />held at the Village Hall in said Village on Monday, the 15th day of <br />January, 1968, at 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mayor Moll, Councilmen <br />Curley, Shields, Grauel and Linebarger <br /> <br />and the following members were absent: None <br /> <br />Member Shields introduced the following Resolution and <br />moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2009 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve that section of Northern <br />Pacific Railway right-of-way in the Village of Roseville, legally <br />described as follows: <br /> <br />The northerly 35 feet of the Northern Pacific Railway <br />right-of-way lying between the easterly right-of-way line of <br />Owasso Boulevard south and the easterly lot line of Lot 1, A. K. <br />Barnum's Garden Lots all in the north 1/2 of the NE 1/4 of Section 1, <br />Township 29, Range 23, Ramsey County, Minnesota, <br /> <br />by installation of street surfacing, and to assess the benefited <br />property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement, <br />pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 429.011 to 429.111; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the <br />Village of Roseville, Minnesota, that the proposed improvement be <br />referred to the Public Works Director for study and that he is instructed <br />to report to the Council with all convenient speed, advising the Council <br />in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible <br />and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection <br />with some other improvement, and the estimated cost of the improvement <br />as recommended. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was <br />duly seconded by Member Curley, and upon a vote being taken, the <br />following voted in favor of the resolution: All present <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: None <br />
