EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was held on the 29~' of June, 2009, at 6:00 p.m. <br />The following members were present: Johnson, Ihlan, Roe, and Klausing; <br />and the following Members absent: Pust. <br />Council Member Klausing introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10718 <br />A RESOLUTION VACATING PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY ABUTING 501 SOUTH <br />MCCARRONS BOULEVARD (PF09-013) <br />WHEREAS, Donald Plumb owns the residential property at 501 South McCarrons <br />Boulevard and has requested the vacation of an undeveloped portion of the South McCarrons <br />Boulevard right-of--way lying generally east of its intersection with Roselawn Avenue and North <br />McCarrons Boulevard and legally described as: <br />That part of the west 33 feet of the Northeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 13, <br />Township 29, Range 23, Ramsey County, Minnesota lying easterly of a line described as <br />commencing at the northwest corner of said Northeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter; <br />thence North 89 degrees 17 minutes 04 seconds East, assumed bearing, along the north line of <br />said Northeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter a distance of 13.33 feet to the point of <br />beginning of the line to be described; thence South 00 degrees 42 minutes 56 seconds East 23.64 <br />feet; thence southerly and southeasterly 60.43 feet along a tangential curve concave to the east <br />having a central angle of 26 degrees 38 minutes 00 seconds and a radius of 130.00 feet; thence <br />South 27 degrees 20 minutes 56 seconds East tangent to said curve a distance of 11.52 feet to the <br />east line of said west 33 feet and said line there terminating. <br />WHEREAS, the public Works Director has determined that approving the requested <br />vacation would not have adverse impacts on the public; and <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Planning Commission held a public hearing regarding the <br />easement vacation on June 3, 2009, voting (7-0) to recommend approval, based on the findings <br />of the Planning Commission project report dated June 3, 2009; <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Roseville City Council, to vacate the <br />right-of--way described above, based on the information contained in the project report prepared <br />on June 17, 2009. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Council <br />Member Johnson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: Johnson, <br />Ihlan, Roe, and Klausing; <br />and none voted against. <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />
