EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall at 2660 Civic Center <br />Drive, Roseville, Minnesota, on Monday, 17th day of May, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. <br />The following members were present: Pust; Roe; Ihlan; Johnson; and Klausing and the <br />following members were absent: none. <br />Councilmember Roe introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10813 <br />ORDERING THE IMPROVEMENT FOR <br />THE NORTHEAST SUBURBAN CAMPUS CONNECTOR BIKE/ PEDESTRIAN <br />PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville Pathway Master Plan is adopted by reference in the city's <br />Comprehensive Plan. <br />WHEREAS, the Pathway Master Plan identifies the Fairview Bike/ Pedestrian Pathway <br />facilities as an important connection for the area pathway network; <br />WHEREAS, in the interest of providing a regional connection, the City of Roseville is <br />working with the City of Falcon Heights and the University of Minnesota to construct this <br />pathway segment as a part of the Northeast Suburban Campus Connector (NESCC) Bike/ <br />Pedestrian Project. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Roseville Minnesota, <br />that the Council held a public hearing on May 17, 2010, to consider the proposed construction <br />of the Northeast Suburban Campus Connector Bike/ Pedestrian Project at a cost presently <br />estimated at $1,078,000; at which all persons desiring to be heard were given an opportunity <br />to be heard thereon, and having considered the views of all interested persons, the Council <br />does hereby determine and order that said improvement shall be constructed and financed and <br />that all improvements be constructed substantially as recommended. The City Engineer is <br />designated as the Engineer for the project and is directed to prepare the final plans and <br />specifications for the improvement. <br />The motion was duly seconded by Councilmember Johnson and upon vote being taken <br />thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Pust; Roe; Ihlan; Johnson; and Klausing the <br />following voted against: none; and the following abstained: none. <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
