EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the city of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 13th day of December, 1993, at 7:30 p.m. The following members were present: Goedeke, P. Johnson, Maschka, Cushman, and V. Johnson, and the following were absent: None. Member Cushman introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 9017 COUNCIL SUPPORT FOR LEXINGTON SCHOOL SITE NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the city council of the city of Roseville will favorably consider retaining the land at Lexington and County Road B, known as the Lexington School site, as Roseville parks and open space to: 1. Help meet the goals of VISTA 2000 regarding leisure and the environment, 2. Support the recommendation of the Roseville Parks and Recreation Commission, and 3. Help alleviate the shortage of parks and opens space land south of Highway 36. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Maschka, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Goedeke, P. Johnson, Maschka, Cushman, and V. Johnson, and the following voted against the same: None. WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
