EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, <br />County of Ramsey, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall at 2660 Civic Center Drive, Roseville, <br />Minnesota, on Monday, the 28th day of June, 2010, at 6:00 o'clock p.m. <br />The following members were present: Johnson; Ihlan; Pust; Roe; and Klausing and the following were <br />absent: none. <br />Councilmember Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION No. 10822 <br />RESOLUTION AWARDING BIDS <br />FOR RICE STREET INTERCHANGE PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to advertisement for bids for the improvement, according to the plans and <br />specifications thereof, Ramsey County received said bids on Monday, June 21, 2010, opened and tabulated <br />according to law and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: <br />CONTRACTOR BID <br />LUNDA $16,590,088.00 <br />SHAPER $17,223,481.81 <br />C.S. MCCROSSAN $17,459,271.00 <br />AIMS CONSTRUCTION $17,472,722.61 <br />ED KREMER & SONS $17,476,514.62 <br />REDSTONE CONSTRUCTION $18,263,415.79 <br />FOREST LAKE $18,937,497.70 <br />PARK CONSTRUCTION $20,179,916.14 <br />WHEREAS, it appears that Lunda Construction, Rosemount, Minnesota, is the lowest responsible bidder at <br />the tabulated price of $16,590,088.00, and <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, that we <br />concur with the decision by Ramsey County to award the bid for the Rice Street interchange project to Lunda <br />Construction of Rosemount, Minnesota for $16,590,088.00. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota: <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Klausing <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: Johnson; Ihlan; Pust; Roe; and <br />Klausing and the following voted against the same: none. <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
