<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />OF ROSEVILLE. MINNESOTA - HELD MAY 25. 1970 <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting <br />of the Village Counei 1 of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly called <br />and held at the Village Hall in said Village on Monday, May 25, <br />1970, at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mayor Moll, Councilmen <br />Curley, Grauel, Linebarger, Anderson <br /> <br />and the following were absent: None <br /> <br />Member Cur ley <br />moved its adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 5414 <br /> <br />WHEREAS. it appears in the best interest of the Village of <br />Roseville to establish a License Bureau for the purpose of controll- <br />ing and issuing of Village licenses and state motor vehicle licenses; <br /> <br />NOW, TI-lERFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE <br />VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The proposed license bureau is to be established within <br />and under the control of the Roseville Police Department. <br /> <br />2. The transfer of $3,000 from the Contingency Fund to the <br />Police Account of the General Fund is necessary for the <br />purpose of providing the staff and equipment for the <br />operation of the license bureau. <br /> <br />3. The establishment of the position of Clerk II. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was <br />duly seconded by Member Grauel and upon a vote being taken <br />thereon the following voted in favor of the resolution: <br />All present <br />and the following voted against same: None <br /> <br />WHEREUPON, said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
