<br />EX'IRACT OF MINUTES OF ~fEETING OF TIfE VILLAGE CaJNCIL <br />OF ROSEVILW, MINNESOTA, HELD February 22, 1971 <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* * <br /> <br />* * <br /> <br />* * * * <br /> <br />* * * * <br /> <br />PursU<ll1t to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting <br />of the Village Council of the Village of Roseville, Minnesota, was <br />duly called at the Village Hall, 27(H North Lexington Avenue, <br />Roseville, i'Iinnesota, Honday, February 22, 1971, at 7: 30 P .~)I. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Acting Mayor Linebarger, <br />Councilmen Grauel, Anderson and Curley <br /> <br />cmd the following were absent: Hayor ~bll <br /> <br />Member Curley introduced the followinr; resolution <br />and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLlITION NO. 5608 <br /> <br />IIJHEREAS, Lexington Avenue from Larpenteur to COllllty <br />Road D traverses the Village of Roseville; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Ramsey County is the responsible agency for <br />the maintenance of Lexington Avenue; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Lexington Avenue is presently in a dire state <br />of disrepair and has therefore become not only a <br />constcmt source of citizen irritation, but also a <br />hazard to safe vehicular travel; <br /> <br />NOW, TPJ~REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Roseville Village <br />Council urges the Ramsey county Board of Commissioners <br />to take the necessary action to assure that Lexington <br />Avenue will be Tlk'lintained in a safe and adequate state <br />of repair. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was <br />duly seconded by i'fember Anderson and upon a vote being taken thereon, <br />the following voted in favor thereof: <br />All present <br />and the follmving voted agains t : None <br /> <br />!vHEREUPON, said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
