EXTRA.CT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, HELD AUGUST 23, 1971 * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village Councll of the Village of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly called and held at the Village Hall in said Village on August 23, 1971. The following members were present: All present and the following members were absent: None Member Linebarger introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 5713 WHEREAS, the Village Council for the Village of Roseville, on March 30, 1970, resolved that the Public Service Commission for the State of Minnesota be petitioned to establish a public hearing for the purpose of installing electric railroad grade crossing signals at eight grade crossings with the Burlington Northern Railway Company within the Village of Roseville, one of which was at Heinel Drive, north of County Road "C", and WHEREAS, said hearing before the Public Service Commission was held on May 26, 1970, and one of the Orders of said Commission after said hearing was that the crossing of Heinel Drive over the right-of-way and tracks of the Burlington Northern, Inc., in the Village of Roseville, Minnesota, should be closed to vehicular traffic, and WHEREAS, said Heinel Drive grade crossing was closed to vehicular traffic subsequent to the establishment of automatic electric highway railroad grade crossing signals at the Dale Street crossing with Burlington Northern, Inc., and WHEREAS, a number of residents of the Village of Roseville are now objecting to said closing of the grade crossing at Heinel Drive; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL FOR THE VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, AS FOLLOWS: The attorneys for the Village of Roseville are hereby instructed to petition the Public Service Commission for the State of Minnesota to vacate
