<br />EXTRA.CT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF <br />ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, HELD AUGUST 23, 1971 <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the <br />Village Councll of the Village of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly called <br />and held at the Village Hall in said Village on August 23, 1971. <br /> <br />The following members were present: All present <br /> <br />and the following members were absent: None <br /> <br />Member Linebarger introduced the following Resolution and moved <br />its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 5713 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Village Council for the Village of Roseville, on March <br />30, 1970, resolved that the Public Service Commission for the State of <br />Minnesota be petitioned to establish a public hearing for the purpose of <br />installing electric railroad grade crossing signals at eight grade crossings <br />with the Burlington Northern Railway Company within the Village of Roseville, <br />one of which was at Heinel Drive, north of County Road "C", and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said hearing before the Public Service Commission was <br />held on May 26, 1970, and one of the Orders of said Commission after said <br />hearing was that the crossing of Heinel Drive over the right-of-way and tracks <br />of the Burlington Northern, Inc., in the Village of Roseville, Minnesota, should <br />be closed to vehicular traffic, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said Heinel Drive grade crossing was closed to vehicular <br />traffic subsequent to the establishment of automatic electric highway railroad <br />grade crossing signals at the Dale Street crossing with Burlington Northern, <br />Inc., and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a number of residents of the Village of Roseville are now <br />objecting to said closing of the grade crossing at Heinel Drive; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL FOR <br />THE VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />The attorneys for the Village of Roseville are hereby instructed to <br />petition the Public Service Commission for the State of Minnesota to vacate <br />
