<br />Extract of Minutes of Meeting of the Village Council <br />of Rosevi11e, Minnesota - Held December 11, 1972 <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting <br />of the Village Council of the Village of Roseville, Minnesota, was <br />held in the Village Hall in said Village on Monday, December 11, <br />1972, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mayor Linebarger, <br />Councilmen Grauel, Anderson, Brennan and Curley <br /> <br />and the following were absent: None. <br /> <br />Councilman Anderson introduced the following resolution <br />and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 5905 <br /> <br />t~REAS, Section 102(d) of Title 23, United States Code, <br />provides for the establishment of the Federal Aid Urban System; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the additions and changes to such system shall be <br />a cooperative effort of the appropriate local officials and State <br />Highway Department; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the appropriate representatives of the local and <br />State transportation offices have jointly agreed upon the merits of <br />transferring a portion of a Federal Aid Primary System route to the <br />new Federal Aid Urban System. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Village of Roseville <br />recommend the Commissioner of Highways request that the Federal <br />Highway Administrator approve the Federal Aid System routing modi- <br />fication within the boundaries of the Village of Roseville, as <br />hereinafter described: <br /> <br />Trunk Highway 8 betweBIl the East Junction of Tnmk Highway <br />36 (Broadway Street) in Minneapolis to the Junction with <br />Tnmk Highway 35 W in New Brighton. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was <br />duly seconded by Councilman Brennan, and upon roll call vote being <br />taken thel'eon, the following voted in favor thereof: All present <br />and the following voted against: None. <br /> <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
