<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />OF CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City ofRoseville, <br />Minnesota, was held in the City Hall in said City on Monday, October 10, 1994, at 5:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Goedeke, P. Johnson, Mastel, Wi ski, and V. Johnson, <br />and the following were absent: None. <br /> <br />Councilmember Goedeke introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9109 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS <br />PURCHASE OF 11-29-23-34-0027 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, parcel 11-29-23-34-0027 is currently tax forfeit; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City ofRoseville has been approached by property owners surrounding Milton Court <br />regarding subdivisions of their properties in order to create new buildable single-family lots; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the construction of a cul-de-sac on Milton Court by the City will allow the combination of <br />parcel 11-29-23-34-0027 with adjoining parcels to create buildable single-family lots; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a parcel of tax forfeit property can be returned to the tax rolls by sale at a public auction or <br />by purchase by the City for market rate and sale to the highest bidder following proper notice; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Ramsey County Assessor has set the market value for parcel 11-29-23-34-0027 at <br />$2,529.75; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Rose vi lIe, Minnesota, that parcel <br />11-29-23-34-0027 be purchased by the City ofRoseville for $2,529.75; and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City ofRoseville advertise the sale of parcel 11-29-23-34-0027 <br />to the highest bidder with the following conditions: <br /> <br />1. Minimum bid of $2,900.00 <br /> <br />2. Lot 11-29-23-34-0027 must be combined with adjoining lot or lots for single-family use <br /> <br />3. Bids be opened on November I, 1994. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Wiski <br />and upon roll call vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Goedeke, P. Johnson, <br />Mastel, Wiski" and V. Johnson and the following voted against: None. <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
