<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF <br /> <br />ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, HELD January 20, 1964 <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular <br />meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Roseville, <br />Minnesota, was duly called and held at the Village Hall in <br />s aid Village on l1onday. January 20. 1964 , at <br />'71:30 p.m. The following members were present: <br /> <br />Hayor Ceclarho1m. Trustees Curley, Goodrich, Grauel <br />and Sh ie Ids <br /> <br />and the following members were absent: " <br />,~one <br /> <br />Member Goodrich introduced the following <br />Resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 908 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes ~169.06 subdivision <br />3 grants to local authorities the right to place and main- <br />tain traffic control devices upon highways and streets <br />within their jurisdiction as they may deem necessary to <br />carry out the provisions of the Minnesota Highway Act or <br />local traffic ordinances; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Council has determined that the <br />Village Engineer is in the best position to know what parti- <br />cular control devices should be placed and maintained at <br />various places within the Village, <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF <br />THE VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />The Village Engineer of the Village of Roseville <br />may be and hereby is delegated the authority to place and <br />
