EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, HELD OCTOBER 20 , 1975 * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call meeting of the City Council of Minnesota, was duly called and said City on the 20th day of o'clock p.m. ---- and notice thereof, a regular the City of Roseville, held at the City Hall in October ,1975, at 7:30 The following members were present: Mayor Linebarger, COl.mcilmen Curley, Demos, Hess and Brennan and the following members were absent: None Demos Member introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 6307 WHEREAS, the City desires to purchase the East 250 feet of the North 75 feet of the South 967.93 feet of the Northwest 1/4 in Section 11, Township 29, Range 23, location 11, for park purposesiand WHEREAS, the owners of said property, Henry E. Miller and Theresa Miller are elderly and have agreed to sell said property to the City of Roseville for the sum of Twenty Thousand Two Hundred Eighty-Three and no/lOOths ($20,283.00) Dollars, subject to the City allowing them to lease the property and the residence thereon for the remainder of their lives or until such time as they per- manently move from the premises, for the total amount of One Dollar ($1.00) per year. NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, AS FOLLOWS: 1. The Mayor and the City Manager are hereby authorized to enter into the Earnest Money Contract attached hereto as Exhibit "A" with the said Henry E. Miller and Theresa Miller to purchase said property. 2. The Mayor and the City Manager are further authorized to enter into a written Lease Agreement pro- viding for the rental of said property to Henry E. Miller and Theresa Miller for the remainder of their lives or until they permanently move from the premises for the total amount of One Dollar ($1.00) per year.
