<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, HELD JUNE 27 , 1977 <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular <br />meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, <br />said city on the 27th day of June , 1977, at <br />7:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />The following members were present: . <br />Counci1.nen Curley, Hess and Anderson ktlng Mayor Grauel, <br />and the following members were absent: Ma <br />yor DeIros <br /> <br />Member Curley introduced the following <br />resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 6508 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Rice Creek Watershed District has <br />received Grant No. S 804730-01-0 from the U.S. Environmental <br />Protection Agency for the improvement of the Long Lake chain <br />of lakes within the Rice Creek watershed including the Lake <br />Johanna and Lake Josephine sub-watersheds; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Roseville <br />believes that certain specific water improvement projects <br />effecting the Lake Johanna and Lake Josephine sub-watersheds <br />winhin the City of Roseville appropriately may be included <br />in said Grant and that said improvements will be beneficial <br />to the public health, convenience and welfare of the citizens <br />lof the City of Roseville. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of <br />the City of Roseville, Minnesota, authorizes the Mayor and <br />the Manager to execute the Petition, attached hereto, <br />requesting the Managers of the Rice Creek Watershed District <br />to make the certain improvements set forth therein. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution <br />was duly seconded by Member Hess <br />and upon a vote being taken, the following voted in favor <br />of the Resolution: All t <br />presen <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: None <br /> <br />WHEREUPON, the said Resolution was declared duly <br />passed and adopted. <br />
