E1ITRACT OF MINUTES OF MEEI'ING OF THE CITY COONCIL OF THE CITY OF IDSEVILLE, MINNFSOI'A - HEID JULY 11, 1977 * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular neeting of the City Camcil of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall in said City on Monday, July 11, 1977, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. 'Ihe follONing rrembers were present: D=nos, Hess, Anderson, Curley and Grauel and the follONing were absent: None ~r Anderson introo.uced the following resolution and noved its adoption: RESOWTION NO. 6512 WHEREAS, the City of Roseville wishes to participate with other local goverrurental jurisdictions in irrproving energency response and camunications capabilities of law enforcerrent,fire service and energency rredical services for all Roseville residents, and WHEREAS, a joint and cooperative planning effort of all interested local goverrurents in suburban Ramsey Camty has produced a joint pcMers agreenent that offers great potential for irrproving all asPeCts of citizen energency notification and public safety agency response through the effective use of radio and telephone ccmnunications, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Manag,er be authorized to sign the Joint PONers Agreenent establJ.shing the Suburban Ramsey County Errergency Cormunications Board on behalf of Roseville, and BE IT FURI'HER RESOLVED, that James Andre be appointed director and Arthur Johnston be appointed alternate director to represent the Ci ty of Roseville. '!he notion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by M=nber Hess and upon roll call vote being taken thereon, the follONing voted in favor thereof: All present and the following voted against the same: None WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
