<br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE ESTABLISHING <br />A COMMITMENT BY THE CITY TO ADOPT AND ADMINISTER AMENDMENTS TO <br />THE CITY'S LAND USE CONTROL AND SURF ACE WATER MANAGEMENT PLAN TO <br />ADDRESS THE METROPOLITAN COUNCIL'S INTERIM STRATEGY TO REDUCE <br />NONPOINT POLLUTION TO ALL :METROPOLITAN BODIES <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 11 th day of August, <br />1995 5:30 P.M. <br /> <br />The following members were present: P. Johnson, Mastel, Wiski, Goedeke, and V. <br />Johnson and the following were absent: None. <br /> <br />Member Wiski moved that the following resolution be adopted. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9219 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Roseville Comprehensive Plan Amendment request was <br />approved by the Roseville City Council on September 12, 1995, subject to review <br />and approval by the Metropolitan Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Roseville request for a Comprehensive Plan Amendment <br />was received by the Metropolitan Council in July, 1994; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in a letter dated July 28, 1995, the City was informed by the <br />Metropolitan Council that its application for a Comprehensive Plan Amendment is <br />incomplete because it does not include information indicating that the City has <br />adopted the Metropolitan Council's INTERIM STRATEGY TO REDUCE <br />NONPOINT POLLUTION TO ALL METROPOLITAN WATER BODIES; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Roseville City Council has been informed of the requirements <br />set forth in the Metropolitan Council's INTERIM STRATEGY TO REDUCE <br />NONPOINT POLLUTION TO ALL METROPOLITAN WATER BODIES, and <br />recognizes that the City's stormwater plan must be amended to address the measures <br />established by the strategy to gain approval of the City's Comprehensive Plan <br />Amendment by the Metropolitan Council. <br />
