<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA <br /> <br />HELD - MAY 14, 1979 <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council <br />of the City of Roseville rret in regular session at the City Hall <br />on r-bnday, May 14, 1979, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. <br /> <br />'The following rrerrbers were present: <br />Counci1rren Anderson, Kehr and Curley <br /> <br />Mayor Demos, <br /> <br />and the following were absent: Councilman Franke <br /> <br />Councilnan Curley introduced the following resolution <br />and roved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 6817 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Roseville desires to assist low incorre <br />horreowners in making repairs to their horres for the purPOse of <br />correcting defects affecting directly the safety, habitability, <br />energy usage, or accessibility of the property; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, THE Minnesota Housing Finance Agency has funds <br />to be used for such PurPOses, am will accept applications from <br />housing and redevelopment authorities desiring to administer these <br />Harre Inproverrent Grant Program funds; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the ~tropolitan Council has been duly organized <br />pursuant to Minnesota Statutes 1976, Section 473.123 and has all of <br />the powers and duties of a housing and redevelopment authority PUr- <br />suant to Minnesota Statutes 1976, 473.193 under the provisions of <br />the Municipal Housing and Fedeveloprrent Act, Minnesota Statutes <br />1976, Sections 462.411 to 462.711; and <br /> <br />NCW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the ~tropolitan <br />Council is hereby requested to include the City of Roseville in <br />an application for state Horre Inproverrent Grant Program funds, <br />and that upon approval of such awlication, the City and the <br />~tropoli tan Council will enter into an agreerrent for operating <br />the program wi thin the City. <br /> <br />'The rotion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution <br />was duly seconded by Councilrnan Kehr and upon vote being <br />taken, the following voted in favor thereof: All present <br />and the following voted against sarre: N <br />- one <br /> <br />whereupon the resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
