<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE ROSEVILLE <br />CITY COUNCIL - HELD JUNE 11, 1979 <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of <br />the City Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly called <br />and held at the City Hall in said City on Monday, June 11, 1979, at <br />7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />The following members were present: ~~yor Demos, Councilmen <br />Franke, Anderson, IZehr and Curley <br /> <br />and the following were absent: t~one <br /> <br />Member Kehr <br />moved its adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 6822 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the State of Minnesota, Department of Public Safety has <br />available to cities, 50% funding for Highway Safety Programs; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the State of Minnesota, Department of Public Safety has <br />an approved Highway Safety Program in which funds are available for the <br />City and State to purchase moving radar; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Roseville has allocated funds in their 1979 <br />police budget for the purchase of moving radar; therefore, <br /> <br />Be it resolved that the City of Roseville enter into an Agreement <br />with the State of Minnesota, Department of Public Safety for the following <br />purpose, to wit: <br /> <br />To reimburse the City for monies spent in connection with Project <br />Grant Number 79-05-02 for the purchase of moving radar at 50% of <br />the net contract price of the radar unit but not to exceed $289.50 <br />per radar unit. <br /> <br />Be it further resolved that the City Council of the City of Roseville <br />authorize the City Manager to execute such Agreement. <br /> <br />The motion for Adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Council Member Anderson and upon a vote being taken the following voted <br />in favor thereof: ~~l present <br /> <br />and the following voted against same: None <br />
