Chair Peck urged everyone to make recommendations on any additions or modifications before the next meeting. Committee Straumann suggested having two categories, Goals Continuing and Goals New, since some of the goals carry forward every year. Ms. Olson indicated she would bring this back next month for review and approval. 5. REPORTS A. Public Works/Parks and Recreation Report Ms. Olson reported that the ice rinks are open. She mentioned that Public Works has been getting a lot of use out of the new bobcat Trailblazer. Ms. Olson reported they had a great turnout for Breakfast with Santa which was held this past weekend. Ms. Olson indicated that Public Works is very busy with snow removal. The committee members complimented Public Works for the wonderful job they were doing on snow removal. B. City Council Report Council Liaison Grant reported that the City has received plans for the new McDonald's and demolition of the old structure will occur on June 1, 2011. He indicated that Arden Plaza is coming back to the Planning Commission possibly with a Walgreen's and, therefore, something may be happening in the B2 Zone. He stated that Presbyterian Homes is turning over the triangle piece and the first home, which will be demolished and graded, to the City and that the trail systems throughout Presbyterian Homes will also be open to the public. Council Liaison Grant reported the City is doing some conduit bonding in the amount of $38 million. The agreement states the City will be paid $170,000 for doing the conduit bonding. Ms. Olson indicated that the Community Development Director and City Planner are working with surveyors on the Trinity Lutheran Church property. Council Liaison Grant stated the outcome of this is that the City will then actually own the park.
